This facility will focus on producing veterinary diagnostic products, further expanding IDEXX’s global footprint in pet healthcare innovation. The average compensation for the new positions is projected to be $65,873, which is higher than the current average wage in Wilson County.
The project will be supported by a Job Development Investment Grant (JDIG) from the state, estimated to grow North Carolina’s economy by $1 billion over 12 years. IDEXX’s decision to establish operations in Wilson highlights the region’s attractiveness for global industries, thanks to North Carolina’s focus on workforce development and strategic partnerships.
